The Countdown Begins... (3/29)
As I wait for my appointment, I will be doing a few things to prepare my mind and my body for the most important day of the rest of my life.
Date: 3/29/2005 1:34:15 PM ( 19 y ) ... viewed 2805 times My appointment with Dr. Morales will occur in about a month. As I sit here and wait, I wonder why I didn't make my appointment sooner. After all, I have poison in my mouth. I can taste and feel the metallic currents on the side of my tongue. I know that each day I wait is another day that 50 times the "normal amount" of mercury (that would be released from my amalgams alone) is being released because I have a gold crown in my mouth as well. In other words, each day, I am receiving nearly two months' worth of mercury into my system. So why did I wait? To prepare my body a little better.
Every two or three days, I sit for 1 to 1 1/2 hours in front of my infrared sauna board. Near the end of my session, the sweat pours off of me as if I were sitting outside in the rain, I kid you not. And each time that I finish, I feel renewed! I made my own sauna board for just under $70, which I describe in detail at the following URL:

I have cleaned up my diet except for rare occasions (no sugar, no white flour or white rice, no alcohol, no coffee, more fresh veggies and fruits, and as organic as I can make it). I have added more P&B shakes (psyllium seed and bentonite) which helps to bind toxins in the bowel so they can be expelled from the body. I have increased my water consumption. I have made an effort to increase my physical activity, although not too much because I feel sick (dizzy & weak) with too much activity. I've also been using more fresh garlic, and will increase its use even more as my big day approaches. I use it in my cooking nearly every day, and I also mince whole garlic, scoop about a tablespoon into my mouth, and wash it down with water without chewing. I believe that this will help to prep my body for dental surgery much like taking an antibiotic would. And, of course, it helps to remove mercury from my system, so I will continue to take it after my removal. Just a word of caution: don't juice much garlic to put in your fresh juices unless you are prepared to end up on your bathroom floor feeling mighty hot and sick for a few minutes! Been there, done that.
I am planning to go nearly all raw this week in anticipation of my juice fast next week. I like to eat some hot soups like miso soup and vegetarian chicken broth with Bragg's liquid aminos while eating raw. I will play the next three weeks by ear. If I get to feeling too sick from excess detoxification, I will slow it down by adding some cooked brown rice. I want to go into my appointment healthy and feeling as well as I can, not stressed from massive detoxing. I will also do a final liver flush. I may do it tonight. I was planning to do it next week, but I feel so great today that I may go ahead and do it.
Mentally, I feel so much more relaxed and peaceful about going to Tijuana, Mexico, to see Dr. Morales. Torrie has not been as helpful to me personally as I had hoped (although she does answer specific questions on her website and on her Yahoo forum--and here on Curezone). I was supposed to personally talk to Torrie on the phone when I made my appointment, but she had the flu, so I had to talk to someone who was not familiar with my case, so that was a little stressful. Then I asked Torrie to double check to make sure that I had my appointment set up properly, but she told me to just call back and confirm with Lety. I don't have a problem with that, but Torrie made her e-mails sound like she would be in charge of getting me all squared away, and then I felt like she left me hanging. This made me feel really nervous. That's when I "vented" in my first post several days ago about wondering if I was going to be mugged in Mexico. I don't feel that way anymore. I re-read some of the wonderful posts here on Curezone that led me to my decision to see Dr. Morales, and I got a bit of encouragement and some more specific advice from happydog--thank you happydog for being a friend--and now I feel peaceful about my decision. I can move on and concentrate on getting ready.
