My Liver Flush (April 3, 2005)

Here’s what happened leading up to and during and after my liver flush.

So, let’s talk about it. Yesterday, I woke up with the mindset that I was indeed going to flush. I drank a little water and had a nice cup of peppermint tea. Then I went to church. When I got home, my son and his friend were hungry, so I sent them to pick up some pizza, one for each of them and one for my husband later in the day. I knew I would be weak around the intoxicating aroma, so I grabbed a quick bite of my first of two apples and headed outside. Well, first I did a load of laundry, folded some towels, cleaned up my kitchen, and THEN I headed outside. Every once in a while, I had a bite of apple. I proceeded to empty the trash can and then weed my half of the alley area behind my back fence by pulling up all the tall grass by the roots and putting it in my compost. I have been slowly preparing the soil beside the alley for several years, so that hopefully soon I will be able to plant tomatoes back there, so the soil is quite loose for the most part. I had a huge pile of grass when I was finished. By then, the guys were finished with their pizza, so I came back inside and spent a few hours online.

I decided to have a small glass of freshly pressed grapefruit juice before I began taking the Epsom salt solution. At 7, I dissolved a tablespoon of ES in 4 ounces of purified water and swallowed it. Then I had a nice, hot bath at 8, along with a big glass of water. At 9 p.m., I took another tablespoon of ES in water. Over the next two hours, I watched a movie and got my stuff prepared for the 11 p.m. dose. I pressed a half cup of grapefruit juice and placed it in my shaker cup. Then I inventoried my stock of oils, and decided to try something new. I chose 2 ounces of avocado oil and 2 ounces of virgin olive oil, which I had previously infused with garlic and rosemary. (Of course, I strained out the herbs before use.) I placed this in my shaker cup. Then I heated up my coffee for a coffee enema. This is something new for me: I decided to take a coffee enema just after drinking my oo/gfj. I got everything ready and finished watching my movie until 10:55.

At 11, I stood in my bathroom and drank the most delicious “shake” I have ever used in conjunction with the liver flush. It was a savory pleasure, and only a small shudder escaped me after I finished it. I didn’t feel like I was going to vomit. I didn’t feel like I was never ever going to do another liver flush for as long as I lived. On the contrary, I felt like this was something that was so wonderful for my body and that I almost could not wait to do it again! Now if you know how much I hate the oo/gfj mixture, you know how truly stunning this new attitude is. The ES I can handle. The olive oil has been a source of trouble for me since about the 7th or 8th liver flush, if memory serves me right. My ornithine had expired, so I didn’t use any, but my sleep was absolutely fabulous and deep and refreshing without the ornithine.

Anyway, after drinking my shake, I immediately lay down in the bathtub, and took in the first cup of coffee solution. I only got up to empty each of three doses. Forty-five minutes later, I was finished with the coffee enemas, and I cleaned up and got into bed. I was asleep by midnight (or 11 p.m. standard time). I only awoke once in the night while dreaming about my deodorant mineral stone disintegrating into sections. Hmmm…interesting dream. I don’t know what time I woke, because I was so comfortable that I didn’t want to crane around and look at the clock. So I simply closed my eyes and slept again.

I woke at 7 a.m. (daylight savings time--grrrr), peaceful and rested. I lay in bed for another hour and a half, waiting for my husband to get out of the bathroom and get into bed. (He worked the night shift last night.) At 8:45, I got up and had another dose of ES, this time with freshly pressed grapefruit juice. Then I had another coffee enema. Usually, I have a coffee enema to help relieve the headache that accompanies my liver flushing, but this time, I had the coffee solely to help my gallbladder contract, a sort of a secondary liver flush. I did not have any headache, and I did not have ANY of the hung-over, groggy kind of a feeling that I have had with many previous flushes. I really woke feeling great this morning, except for my oft-present left kidney area pain and the to-be-expected soreness in my gallbladder. Now I understand how great the liver flush is supposed to be, and how it probably is for those who are relatively healthy.

I passed a small number of tiny dark green stones, probably around twenty or so. As of 11:30 this morning, that’s it. I’m still waiting for the 3rd dose of ES to make its appearance, though, so there might possibly be more stones. All-in-all, this was a tremendously wonderful liver flush for me. I may not have had many stones to show for it, but this flush restored my joy in flushing. Maybe next time, I’ll use all olive oil again, but this time, I will definitely use infused oil! What a treat!

More:

At 12:30, I decided to eat a pear. I guess I won't be starting any juice fast today! Of course, I have mixed feelings about this.

2:30 p.m. Okay, epsom salt has arrived! I passed 3 pea-sized stones and about 20 more little ones.

3 p.m. Passed another 3 pea-sized stones and about 10 little ones.

4:45 p.m. Here we go again! Five more peas and a few smaller stones

8 p.m. Well, my guts are still rumbling, so I know I'm not done yet, but I think I'll just go ahead and try a high enema to finish cleaning myself out. And that should be it. G'nite!

P.S. Here is a picture of what came out of my bile duct three years ago when I did my first liver flush!!
