Full Spectrum Lighting
Resource for obtaining full spectrum light bulbs cheaply to save you tons of $, esp since each bulb will give you about 4 years of service ! the benefites of full specturum/ natural lighting are immense.

one of the things I have desired for a long time,
is to get full spectrum light bulbs.
Having been house- bound for pretty much well over a decade,
This issue has become even more important to me.
Natural spectrum lighting promotes vitamin D within the body,
and helps you fight the blues, reduce fatigue, and feel better anytime of the year.
Indoor plants will benefit greatly by this,
as well as housebound humans,
pets that are mostly indoor pets,
and esp a consideration for those elderly folks
that do not get out as much as they need
to get the sunlight that would be of great benefit for them.
Full / or natural spectrum lighting is definitely needed
by us all in winter time!!
These bulbs are most energy and finacially efficient also.
A typical full spectum light bulb will last 5000 watt years.
At 5 hours a day use, that means it will last
about 4 years, without replacing!!
Some bulbs can last 20,000 life, which equals out to about 11 years at 5 hours per day use, without needing to replace the bulb. Even if you use it 10 hours a day, you are still getting 5 years life from one bulb, not to count the energy bill savings.
A 150 watt bulb of full specturm light only uses 27 watts to burn vs 150 watt for a regular 150 watt bulb.
All these things combined make them a serious item to consider adding to your health care lifestyle.
I was getting frustrated by the expensive bulbs I kept seeing marketed, til a wonderful friend turned me on to this site.
I bought the single bulbs for 8 $ each and was thinking of getting a few 20,000 hours ones as well for 10 $ each.
I also saw a few products there,
that I felt well worth purchasing.:
They are disks and bags that reduce ethylene buildup
from fresh produce, thus slowing down decay time
of fresh produce and vitamin loss by 50 % for the bags,
perhaps more for the disk .
