Tail End of Day 8 - Slowing Up
Day 8, Winding it Down & Trying a Coffee Enema
Date: 4/27/2013 3:37:20 AM ( 11 y ) ... viewed 1169 times It's sun-down day 8 of the 2nd leg of my April fast - it's been a great 8 days, am going to wind it down a bit now as my sister arrives here in 4 days, and will want to share meals - a big part of her enjoyment while she's here. She's going to be here only 4 days, very short - after which I might do a short 3rd leg of the fast - bringing me into May and it won't be long, maybe another 7 or 8 days as I'll leave on the 15th for Bali.
Ate a little today, shared a small plate of nachos and a crumpet later on with my bf - all seemed to go down well, stayed away from any hot sauce, just ate slowly a small amount, feel warm and nourished now, good...
The only thing that was tough on this 2nd leg this time was that I experienced an awful lot of headaches. They seemed to come on nearly ever day, there might have been a couple days without them - that was painful, but it didn't make me want to stop the fast.
Loving the way I'm feeling, the new discovery of shrubs - drinking vinegar I made this month - also tried something new and gave myself a coffee enema, day before yesterday and then again today - that was amazing... it had an incredible effect on taking all pain out of my body.
The first night after taking one, I didn't sleep much - it wasn't any caffeine effect either, far from it - it was a full moon and my bf and I camped out that night a few hours down the coast as we were going to do some filming the next day - the moons energy often makes my sleep light - and all through the night I kept releasing the most locked up pain from my body - neck, shoulders, calves, back - it was really incredible. Not sure it this was all due to the coffee enema - guess I might find out tonight if that continues while I sleep.
I felt such relief during some of that time, from pain that was just so chronic I'd really forgotten what it was like to have it lifted.
Pretty interested in the coffee enema and going to continue with those for awhile - will report on how it goes in the blog.
Swastiastu - Til next time!
