I was laying in bed when my alarm went off. I listened to the radio for a long while. I was still feeling a bit odd, but not feeling so tired. The test would be how I felt once I got out of bed and walked around. The radio station that was on was playing a couple musical clips from America English, which is a Beatles tribute band, what will be playing at the Palace on Saturday. I wondered if I should go, since when I was a teenager, I was a BIG Beatles fan. When I was 15 years old in 1989, my mother gave me a Beatles themed Christmas. I had Beatles albums, Beatles magazines(My mother bought them from an antique shop) , A Beatles doll (Paul), Beatles posters, and a couple Beatles T-shirts. I have to say that it was one of the best Christmas in my life. I had always wanted to see them in Concert, and since that could never happen, since John Lennon died when I was 6 years old, and now that George Harrison is dead as well. I thought about it for a while, while I got read for work.
I have noticed that I have energy, but at times I still take things so very slow, because I don't have the energy coming from the food, that I am not eating. I am sure I would have energy if was eating food. I can't wait until Easter, so I can break the fast. It is coming up and I can't believe it. I am doing so well with this water fast. And I feel so good!
Work was so slow, so when I left the office to do a couple errands, I called my mother to ask her if I should attend the America English concert. I told her it was a tribute band for the Beatles. She asked me when was the last I spend $25.00 on myself. I told her back in November when I bought my Wii. She told me that I should treat myself out and if she was in my place she would go. So I thought about it and went and bought the ticket at the Palace, which was right across the street from Municipal Court (where I was) I was a little nervous as I had never bought a ticket from box office before. I was able to pick my seat and the choose from two prices. $22.00 and $18.00. I chose a $18.00 seat, farther back, so that when I would see them, they would be far away enough they would really look like the “Beatles”. I felt great after I bought it, but I wasn't excited about it.
The rest of work was slow, but I keep myself busy enough to over look that.
After work, I went and picked Christy up so we could do our regular “shopping” we do every week. I told her that I wanted to go to Oddlots and then Aldi's to check out the raised garden bed sets they had. We went to Oddlots first and checked out the gardening stuff. Their garden bed set, didn't look as nice as the one I saw in an ad from Aldi's. We then went to Aldi's and I looked for the raised garden bed, but they didn't have any left! I couldn't believe it. Of course, Christy bought her grocery and I helped me. She asked me what I would like to have for dinner. I faked that I wasn't feeling that great and not really hungry, but I told her it didn't matter what she made. She didn't push me about eating something, so I know that she probably would over look me not eating
By the time we got down, I was really tired and didn't help Christy but her groceries away. I hoped that Christy wouldn't noticed how tired I was and say anything about eating. She didn't. I rested a bit, read my book and drank a lot of water.
We played Monopoly (Christy, Me, Jesse and Ashley) It was really fun too. Jeese ended up bankrupting me, as he was the only one with a full set of properties. When he started to buy houses and then hotels, we were all in trouble. I went out first, so my Park place when back to the bank, as I wouldn't sell it to Christy. Jesse ended up getting it, so Christy still didn't have a pair. Ashley and Christy were trying, but Jesse was wiping them out with just that one property. I sat back and watch the action. Ashley was the next one out, and then Christy. It was funny as heck, because everyone got beat by an 8 year old boy. Jesse really liked playing it. I told him that I would look for the game “Life” as me and my brother used to play it and we loved it. I told Christy that she would have board game night, as something as simple as that really makes a difference in a child's life. I remember how often and how much fun both me and my brother had playing board games. I have always been into board games. The guy always thought that it was odd, as he felt that board games were more of a married thing a couple does. I told him I just enjoy the interaction I get when I play board games with people. It is better then watching movies or playing video games. I told Christy we can always check Goodwill tomorrow since we will be out and about tomorrow.
I didn't get home until almost 2 a.m. as Christy and I were having so much fun playing games, even if it was just us, after Jesse fell asleep and Ashley went home. I told her that I would be at her house no later then 9:30 a.m. if I was running late. When I got home I was so tired and I waited to take a shower until the morning,as my body just wanted to lay down and sleep. LOL Mekong was all for it.
