January 19, 2010

Ugh! My day started off very slow, as I was up all night. I could relax enough to get to sleep. I finally did try to settle down around 6:30 a.m. only to be woken up by my mother calling me. I didn't answer it, as I had to get up in a hour and a half. I needed some sleep. My eyes were burning when I woke up, but it was because I tired, of course,

I had about 6 ounces of juice made from beets, leafy greens, carrots and a half an apple before work. It tasted good. Most of the rest of the day I drank water, as I didn't make enough juice to take with me to work for my “lunch”.

I noticed that last night that my stomach fat seems to be getting softer. It doesn't seem as hard. It seems all squishy, which might mean that it is ready to be whittled away faster then it has in the past, when I have tried to lose it.

I got a compliment from the one attorney today about my weight. He said that I was really looking good. He also asked how much I had lost. I lied, because I was afraid if I told him how much, he might become concerned as it does seem like a lot since October 31, 2010. I told him I lost about 20 pounds when in reality, I have lost 33 pounds. Most of it in a 2 ½ month period. I am sure that would really raise questions if I said that much. I did tell him embarrassingly, that before I started my “diet” I did weight 155 pounds. He just said that I should keep up the good work, since it suits me nicely. I think that the office has noticed that I have a lot more energy (since I started my juice fast) as I have been doing this and that, and cleaning in the office. You can kind of say that I was just zooming along. LOL

I had a lot of energy even though I had a lack of sleep. When I got off work, I drove home, picked up my movies (as I forgot that they were due today), returned them and rented a couple new ones. I was really looking forward to Spring and planting. I was on my way to Walmart (as I had since two gift cards I could use) to look around and buy dry cat food. A song on KLOVE was playing “Strong Tower” by Kutless. I used to love that song and could relate to the song. At the moment, I was feeling very upbeat and positive.

I did something I thought I wouldn't do! I called my Dad! I didn't have a lot of minutes on my phone, but I really just wanted to hear his voice and tell him that I loved him very much. I was just walking in to Walmart when I called. My stepmother answered and was surprised that I called. I told her hello and that I didn't have a lot of time on my cell phone, so I just really wanted to talk to my Dad for a minute and I would call again on the weekend, as it is cheaper for me to do so. She didn't tell him who was on the phone when it was handed to him. He was surprised. My heart just melted when he asked me how I have I been doing and did I get his Christmas card. I told him “No” he said that he sent it out late, so I should check my P.O. Box again for it. I told him that my minutes were low, and I just called to tell him how much I really loved him. I wanted to cry so much when he said “I love you very much too.” I told him I could call again on the weekend, and he told me that he loved me again. I really hated hanging up on him, but I really had to make my cell phone minutes last until my paycheck. I did feel good inside that I finally called my Papa after all this time. Maybe I was just being uber-stubborn. I don't know. I just didn't want to be disappointed when no one called me back, like the last couple times I tried calling last year. When I dialed the number, I even wished that no one would answer, because I didn't know if I was ready to hear my father's voice, since my heart had been aching so much lately with missing him.

I guess it is a good thing that I called him. Now, I just have to be strong enough emotionally to call him back this weekend. I probably will since I really want to talk to my Dad. I missed him so very much.

While at Walmart, I bought some Ketone strips and tried one out when I got home. I am still burning Ketones, and it is one level down from the highest. Once I reach the highest, that is when I really start feeling ill and nauseous.

I guess I had way too much energy, because when I got home, feed my kitties, plugged in my MP3 player to my stereo, I played my Wii for the first time since 21st of December. I tried out Cooking Mama. It was okay, but I have to get used to doing it. I played the sword fighting game for a 25 minutes and then switched to boxing for about 5 minutes, as I was getting worn out. I really got my heart racing while I was sword fighting. LOL I loved it.

I made about 6 ounces of juice made of beets, leafy greens, carrots and broccoli. It was good.

I took a shower, to relax and feel refreshed, no matter how cold it was. Brrrr. I went into the bedroom to try and wind down for a bit. I watched one of my rented movies. “Fast Food Nation”. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't what I really thought it was. I finally turned off the TV and read for a bit. I was tired and it was cold. I stopped sleeping with my heating pad, as I read about “Toasted skin syndrome” and I am sure that I would be one of the ones to get it so I stopped. I haven't seen any odd splotch on my skin, but I thought I saw some on my lower back (as I lay on my heating back) a couple weeks ago, and thought it was just because of the cold, that my skin was getting cold splotch. So I use the heating pad to heat up my sheets a bit and then take it out and turn it off. It wasn't easy sleeping when you have a lovable furry cat trying to cradle your face with her paws. I think she liked my hair conditioner that I had used too, as she keep sticking her nose in my wet hair. It was kind of funny.

I am seriously thinking about ending my fast, as I would like to work solid food in my system again, and maybe after a while, when I have established a good steady weight and a healthy diet, I will fast again for another 10 days or so. It seems to work the best for me. It is getting so hard with the lower metabolism, which lowers my temperature and makes me colder. I really feel good about my weight and with some hard work, I can still whittle fat of my body slowly.

EXERICISE: Walked 1.20 Miles, played 30 minutes of sword fighting game and boxing game on Wii

WATER INTAKE: 16 ounces of water +

WEIGHT: 122 pounds
