Week 2 Day 4 and Day 5

Guilt confession and repairitive measures....

Ok, the day before yesterday was day 4. Diet wise I did fine - I kept my intake at 1214 calories, to make up for the previous day I did not too well.

I made myself a spreadsheet so I can calculate my average intake for the week. That way, when I go over my allowance, I can make it up over the next few days, to keep my weekly intake on the correct average.

Yesterday, I started menstruating and it was extremely painful. I had to go and lie down. So, last night, pitying myself, feeling weak, feeling sad (Isn't there an Abba song with those lyrics? feeling weak, feeling sad) I succumbed, and had some sticky toffee pudding. I knoooowww!!!! How could I? Well, I am ashamed. But it did taste lovely. At least I gave Hubby the bigger piece. :-|

The scale tells me I did loose some weight - about 0.5kg. IT IS GOING SO SLOW!!!! I do not feel like depriving myself for 6 months or longer... :-( - not like I AM actually depriving myself. OK.

Enema wise - I have done 2 coffee enemas. I do not know if I am ready to blog about the experience. It surely was a strange feeling. But I did feel nicely cleaned out afterwards. And became very thirsty. Both times, I also got a strange metallic taste in my mouth about 2 hours later.
Today I will do another one - yesterday I did not, because of my discomfort.

As for my Zone approach, I really struggle to get my protien intake up to 30% - and I always thought my protien intake to be quite high. I am not a Vegetarian. Use to be for a stretch - OvoLacto Vegetarian. An Fisho... For two years. I must say, I did go a little crazy. So, obviously my protien inthake back then(and probably my vitamin B12 intake too) was way to low. I ate salmon about once a week.

I find upping the proteins, usually ups the Fats, and since I take Hemp oil as a supplement, I do not want to up my fats. Therefore I have to stick to low fat proteins, such as Chicken and Fish (and only some!). Of all proteins, fish is my least favorite. Except for Salmon. Of all proteins, Salmon is probably my favorite. And it is probably about more than the taste - that upstream thingy. Yes, sometimes I feel like a salmon in sheep's clothing.

Swim fishy swim!!! Meeehhh, meeeeehh....

So, Yippee for Today!! Today, better and better.
