Week 2, day 2

I just noticed an absence of sweet-cravings...

I have just realized, since I have been drinking my egg yolk/Hemp oil/Grapefruit juice in the mornings, I have had much less cravings than usual. I use to be in an almost permanent state of craveness. Especially during this time of the month. That is how I use to know my period is near - I crave chocolate. Severely. Funny thing that.

The only other time I felt this absence of cravings, is when Hubby and I were living on a farm, and drank a fair amount of raw milk. OK, and we did not have a lot of sweets, and we ate lots of veg and ate almost only free-range meat.

The eggs I have in the morning are all free-range. But I must say, I have seen better looking free-range eggs. True free-range eggs have an almost orange yolk. Not pale lemon-yellow like battery-chickens eggs. The free range eggs I can get hold of here in the suburbs, are somewhere inbetween. Every now and then I open and egg with an pale yolk. Wonder what that is about? Maybe the chicken slept late and missed out on the daily ratio of greens...

But the big thing is, craving wise, I am better. And today my mood seems much improved. My menses is very close, my breasts feel like two overfull skin-sacks of pain. :-|

Outside, the rain has stopped and the sun has popped out, illuminating a mountainous dark cloud with a blinding silver lining.
Beautiful.

12 Hrs later:
Although I am certain I went over my caloric allowance for the day, I still think it was good overall. I went over with about 200 calories. It was that delicious lemon-curd flavored yogurt. O pants.
I did a good session in my studio, and I gave myself an enema - for the first time in my life. An coffee enema mind you.

I noticed that I became very thirsty later the afternoon, and tonight I did some oil-pulling. The oil became really really thick in my mouth and took on a metallic taste. Thats new. I have been doing oil-pulling for almost 5 months now, and I have had bitter (when I used olive oil) but never metallic - I used cold pressed sunflower oil.

My tongue is looking better than ever - a lot less white fur - except for the crack in the middle - apparently it is caused by dehydration. So sipptey sip water I go. I do not really like drinking water.

Thats it over and out - tomorrow I will not have a yogurt desert thingy. I am quite tired - but in a good way. I love sleeping. I just find it hard now a days to fall asleep at night. Never been a problem before really. Just these last couple of months. I think it is getting better though. Maybe it has something to do with me cold-turkeying from anti-dep. meds.

So, of to dreamland I go...HA! maybe it is the other way around. Probably.
