A quick post-op update... 12 y
My husband suddenly had become awfully nice towards me. He seems more relaxed and less moody. It could be due to the fact that he is seeing some improvement in my condition.
It has been 18 days since the arthroscopic surgery to my hip, and I still have pain every day, all the time. Not severe pain - but pain never the less...
I was suppose to go to the physio this week, but I just did not have the courage to let anybody touch me at this stage... you know - once bitten...
We went to see the surgeon last week, and he was disappointed when I told him I am worse than before the operation - he was, however, pleasantly surprised to see how well the wounds has healed. He told me to come and see him in a months time, and then I must not be using my crutches - he ... read more

Some days are just horrible
I woke up alone in bed and in tears this morning and had to remind myself that this is the Day the Lord Has Made and I will Be Glad and Rejoice in it. He obviously did another late night (early morning) and crashed on the couch. Not the Lord, My Husband. Sleeping together has become the exception to the rule. The other reason for my tears, obviously, is the pain medication having worn off.
I am still taking 17 droops each of Myrrh and Frankincense 3 times a day.
We have been fighting a lot these last 2 - 3 months. Nasty fights. Fights making me want to slash my wrists. Usually after ... read more

Is the key for ascension the pineal gland?
”In the world of religion, there is some attention being assigned to the issues for the pineal gland and the power for the human brain to function on higher levels.
In the world of religion, we find an appreciation for frankincense and here we find an association to making the pineal gland work better. The frankincense being one of the gifts of the Wise Men from Babylon to Jesus. Was there thi ... read more

Hip arthroscopic surgery to repair the torn cartilage in my hip socket...
Tuesday, 20 August 2012, my husband and I went to see my orthopedic surgeon. After reviewing my pain level and healing progress, we decided to perform surgery to repair the torn cartilage around my hip socket.
Friday, 31 August 2012, I went for the Arthroscopic Procedure. I was in early (about 08h00) and out the same afternoon (about 16h00). The surgery lasted about 3 hours. Beforehand, the orthopedic surgeon briefly spoke to me and then the anathesisyst came to speak to me. Being the lengthiest conversation I have ever had with an anaesthetist, he kind of managed to slightly ease my ne ... read more

The last month was difficult, after I stopped taking the NSAID's. I stumbled upon the name 'Boswellia' here on curezone, and decided to investigate...
A while has passed now, almost two months since the affliction to my hip. After I had ’wrestled with an angel of God’, as my friend put it.
With fluctuating pain levels and emotions roller-coasting, I had hit an particularly low on Friday evening when I lost the plot, almost hobbled to the hospital in the rain, realising that I just might take the whole unused prescription of Tramadol and Arcoxib. I think my husband is still traumatised, and for that I feel deep regret and remorse. I think both of us are feeling slightly emotionally flat.
Another event occurred Friday: I received my ... read more
Comfrey and I 12 y
As child I heard about the healing powers of Comfrey - I also heard it gave you cancer. So, needless to say, I have never, untill now, used comfrey. When my body acquired a labral tear, out of desperation, pain and bewilderment, I decided, after careful consideration, to call comfrey from its winter sleep.
As child I heard about the healing powers of Comfrey - I also heard it gave you cancer. So, needless to say, I have never, untill now, used comfrey. I did, however, grace it with a prominent spot in my garden (not very clever, as comfrey can sometimes look really dreary, as the leaves die away for winter).

Beginning 2012 I went to my GP with a swollen gland in my labia, and slight discomfort in my right abdomen. She told me to come back if it gets worse. Six months later it was worse and the GP sent me for x-ryas and a sonar of my abdomen. The gynocologyst I was referred to, gave me a cleanish bill of health and referred me to a orthopedic surgeon to check my right hip.
By the time I managed to get an appointment with the hip doctor, I had taken some cortisone, NSAID’s and had a lot of rest. I felt a bit silly going there, since I did not have any real noticible discomfor ... read more
