Anyone who suffers from allergies, especially food allergies, will attest that it is no picnic. Food allergies can be uncomfortable to the say the least and dangerous if untreated. Worse, the number of sufferers is growing everyday.
The good news is that the majority of food allergies are not actually allergies at all! Yes, there are foods that are allergens like milk products to which 80% of the planet is allergic (lactose intolerance), but an “allergic reaction” is more often than not the body’s alarm system signaling that something is wrong. Most often, that “something” is a colon issue.
When the colon is stressed by chemicals and antibiotics, poor diets rich in processed foods, and/or stress, the diverticulae become inflamed. The diverticulae are the tiny folds in the colon responsible for filtering everything into the blood stream. When the filtering capability is reduced, food particles begin to enter the blood stream and white cells are activated. These activated t-cells and b-cells see food as the enemy and allergic reactions are produced in the form of histamines.
In severe cases, these can result in anaphalactic shock and close off the airway resulting in death. It is not something to be sneezed at (if you will excuse the pun). I have had many people come to my office with such severe allergies they could not eat anything without a reaction.
Many physicians will test the individual for food allergies which is a long drawn out process that only makes one aware of what they are allergic to, not what to do about it. But, once we observe the presence of “leaky gut syndrome” we can address the allergy at its source, the colon.
Leaky gut or irritable bowel syndrome as it is medically known usually shows up as itchy skin, rashes, sneezing after meals, yeast infections, athlete’s foot and a plethora of seemingly non-related issues. All of this is caused by candiasis albicans or candida.
“So, if candida is the issue how do I get rid of it?”
To understand the answer, one must also understand what it is and what it does. I have had more people tell me that they did a candida cleanse/diet for 6 months and nothing happened. The reason? Your colon needs candida!
Candidiasis albicans is a normal part of the colon flora. It is your janitor, commissioned to clean up toxins in the colon. When it is treated properly with a good diet free from chemicals and antibiotics, it does its job. But, when subjected to stressors such as antibiotics, chemicals, refined sugar, diets and stress, the colon begins to inflame and the candida “leaks” into the bloodstream.
This leads to irritable bowel syndrome, diverticulosis, diverticulitis and, in extreme cases, Chron’s disease. All of these are variations of the same problem, a colon that is not functioning properly.
When this occurs, an individual may complain of bloating, “brain fog”, depression and more than 50 other conditions. Part of the problem is that as the function of the colon (to filter toxins and prevent their entering the bloodstream) is impaired, toxins enter the bloodstream as aldehydes. These toxins can no longer be excreted from the system and they build up in tissue and can be a major player in fibromyalgia, yeast infections, athlete’s foot and a host of other unpleasant conditions.
Additionally, food particles can now enter the blood stream and these foods now activate the immune response and food “allergies” begin to appear. All of us know individuals who “test” allergic to every food imaginable. In reality, these people have leaky gut syndrome and the allergic reaction is a result of the inflamed diverticulae of the colon.
Dieting to rid ourselves of candida won’t solve the problem. What needs to be done is, first heal the colon; second, rid the body of toxic build up and finally rebuild the friendly flora of the colon. (It should go without saying, that improving one’s diet is a given.)
So, to do this requires that we clear away toxins. For serious situations, I recommend a simple
castor oil pack. This may have to be done several times, but it is very simple, straightforward and easy.
I learned this little “trick” a number of years ago from the Edgar Cayce Institute in Virginia Beach. I was skeptical at first, but with thousands of clients attesting to its efficacy and simplicity I am convinced.
Simultaneously, I recommend a ¼ cup of
aloe vera juice, morning and evening. (I prefer aloe vera juice that has no taste or has been flavored with citrus.) All aloe vera has no medicinal value 4 hours after the cutting. I am using it simply to coat the colon to give it time to heal. I also recommend 2 capsules of
New Zealand colostrum 3x daily to help rebuild the inflamed tissue. This should be preferably done on an empty stomach. Aloe, by the way, should never be given to pregnant women as it can cause spontaneous abortion in rare cases if overdone.
Further, I recommend adding 3 drops of
liquid molybdenum to the aloe vera juice to help convert the aldehydes to easily excreted toxins. This should be done for about 30 days.
Please add in 1-2 capsules of
digestive enzymes with meals and, depending upon the severity of the condition, allergic reactions can be expected to be reduced within a very short time and complete reversal within a few months. I also recommend 2-3
probiotics 2x daily depending upon the severity of the situation.
Usually this clears the problem in a few days and totally reduces allergies within about 3 months. Then, if the colon is kept healthy, we should never see another round of this problem again.
Please understand that this is only a suggestion and you should consult a physician for medical advice.
