Preparation for the 8 week plan
Date: 8/12/2009 2:19:51 PM ( 15 y ) ... viewed 1435 times I have been pretty good this week (so far) in preparation to my 8 week plan that starts next week. I didn't want to just jump into something after the ruinous week of overindulging.
My regimen currently is quite healthy:
Breakfast: a pack or two of raspberries (i love them) or an apple, plus mint tea. (or and I start a day with a glass of water with the sqeeze of lemon).
Lunch: Green salad, avocado, cilantro, tomato, cucumber, and shrimps or sunflower seeds. Olive oil / lemon juice as a dressing (no salt). If it's a small salad, i add croutons or a crisp bread (wholewheat) on the side.
Dinner (no later than 8pm): Green salad, with crab meat, avocado, tomato, parsley, cucumber. Again, lemon and olive oil. Plus a couple of slices of toased wholewheat bread and a glass of unsalted tomato juice (though not yet freshly squeezed).
Before getting to bed (at appx 11pm), I take a cup of mint tea.
As a physical activity: i try to walk to the office and back (about 25 minutes fast walking), and yesterday I did a 20 minute accelarated pilates program (I own it for ages, but rarely pick up).
I haven't weighed myself purposefully, as to not to detract from the 8 week focus.
However, someone (a girl) complemented me on my complexion today (and it's true, my eyes look brighter, skin - more radiant and hair shinier) - so not too bad for the 4 days achievement.
Now I am debating whether i should go to the gym (it's right in the building) and walk on the treadmill, since I've taked taxi to work today (was running a bit late).
