well, Monday is here
failed Monday launch
Date: 9/10/2007 4:06:56 PM ( 17 y ) ... viewed 1666 times We arrived really late last night - the trains were late by hours - exhausted.
Monday - today - i was going to start my 10 day trial. But I woke up sick, with rain outside, it's freezing cold here and no motivation.
Now, this is how it is probably for most of the people. This why we love to read the "success" stories - 'cause it's not happenning here.
Damn it. I held up pretty good all morning. But then I was cold and just wanted something warm. So I had tea (caffeine) and was guilty of putting sugar in as well. By then - i was like - ah, what the hell - and ate some butter cookies. Seriously - this is not going to work. By the evening my husband also wanted something warm (it's been truly horrible weather day) - so we had a hearty soup (with chunks of meat and potatoes and no doubt - loads of salt and all other "healthy" stuff). and.. a bottle of wine.. and some more cookies for dessert.
Now, clearly - my will power is DEAD. I think i was too ambitious to even thing of a 10 day trial period. I think i need more like 5 day - 1 day - salad, 1- day veggie juice, 1 day lmon water - then juice and salad again - to start with . Shit. Really - how hard can it be.
(PS I know if I were on my own - I would probably hold up - somehow - but when you have a hungry husband who thinks not much of all your efforts (though he does say - well, if only you lose 20 lbs then you'd look great - just the way you did when I met you!)
ok, i am trying to blame my husband - this is wrong. I am just to weak to admit that my will is so frail that it is virtually non-existent.
Ok - tomorrow is another day. I shall try again
