Date: 9/11/2007 4:40:34 PM ( 17 y ) ... viewed 1635 times well, started off well -plenty of green stuff! salad.. a bit of olive oil - no dressings or anything. tomato jice (though loaded on salt). Then, comes the afternoon- hmm...my tea time. so i had one - no sugar though (just plain caffeine).
no bad. plenty of lemon water.
but the dinner time has proven to be the challenge again: it was healthy to start - salmon (and i had only a little piece - like 2 inch long little thing), broccoli, carrots.. but then - soy sause, potatoes, and...wine.. yes.. i can't seem to get away from it. the minute we sit down for dinner (and i served lemon water for both of us, and he (my husband) knows about my attempts) - but he wants a glass of wine with his. and surely - it does goeas handsomly with the meal. and surealy, i've been craving one too.
seriously, i wonder, if there's such a thing as "esthetic alcoholism" - which means - i really don't want to get drunk, i really don't drink hard liquor, but i MUST have a nice glass of wine (or some times three of them - it depends on the wine) - but it must be served in a nice glass. I did an experiment once - i served water in a really nice crystal glass, and wine in a plastic. I didn't touch the wine. Just water. did feel like it.
Anyhow. the cookies (and friend of ours, and i don't really know if I should call her a friend) gave us a ENORMOUS tin of danish butter cookies. Just like 3 Gallons of danish cookies. they are there - standing - staring at us. My husband has a sweet tooth, and as much as i really can care less for sweets - I ate some too.
Some determination. Some will power - down the drain again.
Really.
I even wanted not to write it here. But then again. it's anonymous. If I hesitate to write it here - it means I am really not wanting to face up to the fact that I don't have any willpower whatsoever. That the only time I feel determined is when I feel (or face) the obvious. Oh well.
I am going to attempt my juice regiment tomorrow. Let's see how it will go.
