Day 3 of my fast

Date: 2/27/2009 6:40:07 PM ( 15 y ) ... viewed 1698 times Woke up this morning full of energy...I'm sure it helps that I also had a good nights rest.
Kids have been sick this past week, so that is always a struggle to get a good nights sleep.
One noticeable thing this morning was that I woke with a "normal" dry mouth. For the past couple of weeks or so, I have noticed my mouth & tounge extremely dry in the morning...felt almost as if my tounge was glued inside my mouth. crazy. I was thinking about going to the doctor actually to test my blood sugar. Diabetes? I thought.
I had gestational diabetes with all my pregnancies, so I am aware of some signs/symptoms.
But this morning....great! none of the dryness I had been experiencing. Also, I am not experiencing any uncomfortable hunger....of course i feel hungry just not like I was expecting to feel at the very beginning of this fast. Maybe it will happen later for me? we shall see.
I have kept busy all day long..now it's evening so i plan to keep busy with the kids' night time routine...and so I look forward to tomorrow.
I had some broth again late yesterday afternoon. About 1/2 hour after, I experienced some salt water flush like bowel movements. I was a bit surprised by it, only because I am not taking any cleansing teas as I did with the master cleanse two years ago.
I hope that it is a good sign my body is in detox.
I am continually working on my mind detox & pray for good things to come after this fast is over.
