Beginning of the Third Day
of the Ten Days of Awe
The Rosh Hashanah,
known as the Birthday of the Universe,
began last Friday at Sunset.
When I am with the B’nai Horin
Jewish Renewal Community in L.A.,
my normal home for the Jewish High Holidays
for more than 12 years, I will write and read
various poetic offerings.

Internet on street went out.
The Cox man came today
and the Internet was working
before he even had to mess with anything.

I found your address in a copy of Countryside Magazine.
I have been looing for these seeds for years.
My aunt Etta Watkins used to grow them and
string them up to make me beads when I was only 7 years old.
Now I am 74 but I never forgot the beads.

Stopped in to see Nuva Yeetah yesterday,
a very generous Ayurvedacharya.
I told him my issues.
I told him about my concerns
and need to strengthen my foundation
in myself.
I was telling Nuvah of all the fears I am having.

I will be kept from fully entering the New Season
