Archeological Dig   18 y
Angel is helping me clear the Space in the EG Mobile. The things have in there since Sunday.

3:52 PM November 9, 06 Angel came home early and is helping me unload the EG Mobile. I was feeling a bit imcomplete. The things from the Pac Sym have been packed in there since Sunday night. Today is Thursday. She has been tired too. I think the Whole World is tired this week, being with all the effort to elect a new Congress, and the Take Down of the Enchanted Garden Installation from the Pac Sym. I have not counted all the Seed Dreams that were placed in the basket at the Altar. let’s see I better count them so I can give the completed Seed Dreams to the ...   read more

1:02 PM November 9, 06 Yikes! Still running on empty! Sleep pattern very irregular after Pac Symposium. Still Mercury Retrograde till next week, November It would be great to bring here the energy that I Seed Dreamed in the Closing Ceremony last Sunday. What would that take? Build the energy, Leslie! Also let this be a way of amplifying the Clubhouse--the ...   read more

Back to Garden   18 y
time for a nap.

12 Noon November 8, 06 Knee hurts. Did not bother me during the Pacific Symposium. Moving around the garden a bit, wanting to take some Pomegranate photos for Andrew of Health Concerns. He has a new product called Pomexcellent that is a Pomegranate Fruit Extract. I have always been drawn to Pomegranates. Andrew is a sweet kind man. His company Health Concerns was the first in the nation to produce supplements based on Traditional Chinese Medicines. This Pomexcellent is not intended to be chewed, but I always crew my supplements. They go to my brain faster. I c ...   read more

Law against Lying needed   18 y
This is the last election that I want to see Propositions go down to defeat due to blatant lies and misinformation given to voters.

10:53 AM 11/8/06 Woozy head right at the moment. Up lots of hours with tons of inspiration after completing HISTORIC Paciific Symposium filled with monumental personal BREAKTHROUGHS. Distracted by listening to NPR just now, in response to enthusiasm of housemate Norah who informed me that the Dems could be taking over the Senate as well. I make a habit of NOT listening to the NEWS for months and months now but was informed of results over the phone by a friend. It didn’t look like the Dems could take the Senate as well as the House and this was making me a bit angr ...   read more

Declaring Peace: The Enchanted Garden TMC Project 06-07

9:25 AM October 12, 06 Some thoughts I want to express on a handout or flyer at the Enchanted Garden Altar at the upcoming Pacific Symposium, November 2-5. THINGS to DO to Declare Peace Today You are choosing to be a Caregiver. Give to yourself first. From the overflow of Chi, give to to others. Strive to grow your own Medicine. Start with one easy-to-grow Medicinal herb. Medicine you have grown for yourself from seed has great power. In your own way, pray on the seeds you grow. Evoke Plant Spirit Medicine; It will help you. Closing Ceremony notes

8:41 AM November 4, 06 Got my signals for the Closing Ceremony that will be Sunday, November 5 as part of the Pacific Symposium! IT will be a FUN Schtik playing with Jack Miller, the Prez of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, however brief he wants to keep it. The Whole group will say, ”I’ll drink to that! in between my reading of key Spiritual Enchanted Garden Spiritual Sayings such as Job’s Prayer. ”Come, my friends, let us taste holy foods forever, and grow wild baby herbs where weeds grow while we dare to dance with water hoses!” etc. See Blog called De ...   read more

Day One and Two

7:50 AM November 4, 06 Sharon Zeiss-Tamplen gives thanks for The Seven Love Cures. We had a ball on Day One of Pacific Symposium. Day Two yesterday I beat myself up going to bed after midnight the night before waking up at 5 to write yesterday’s Blog called Favorite Remedies. Yesterday was all about securing Sponsors. I created the Altar Sponsor Flyer BEFORE I had talked to a number of Old Allies. What Chutzpah! My spirit shares inspirations to do things but they are assbackward it seems at times. I am going to do this better next year and cause myself les ...   read more

Thanks to friends who helped set up the Pacific Symposium Plant Your Dream Altar. Thanks to my favorite Heart and Soul Pacific Symposium Exhibitors for Sponsoring this extraodinary Altar bringing Healing to All of us. Thanks to New and Renewing Enchanted Garden Members for their Support.

5:48 AM 11/3/06 Every one has their favorite supplements, the tried and true Remedies they use in a jam. I follow Dr. Bernard Jensen’s model primarily. He was a Great Devotee of Hippocrates, the Father of Medicine in the West, who said ”Let Food Be Thy Medicine.” In times of need, I turn to supplements. In this Blog, you will find my thanks to helpers, and then turn to telling about my Favorite Supplements that I get at the Pacific Symposium. I made MASSIVE advances on DAY ONE of this year’s Pacific Symposium, sponsored by Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM). ...   read more

Sip of Beer   18 y
Stone Brewing Company, San Diego makes a brew called Arrogant Bastard Ale. I have in mind to suggest to CEO Greg that they use Mugwort rather than hops.

9:09 AM Just off the phone with Chris Cochran, Marketing director for The Stone Brewing Company. Chris is sending me a couple of the Arrogant Bastard Ale T-shirts. I am going to present one to Jack Miller, President of Pacific College. Chris tells me, he is quite familar with Mugwort for brewing beer. Brought to bottles of Arrogant Bastard Ale last night from Whole Foods Market Hillcrest to use in a Closing Ceremony for the Pacific Symposium. ”Cheers!” as Chris says. 8:17 AM 11/3/06 One long day down at the Catamaran yesterday. A little story about a Squash...

8:04 AM 11/3/06 It is always such a major committment to set up the Enchanted Garden Installation at the Pacific Symposium. I always have some Hibby-Jibbies in my stomach, especially since this summer when at every turn the EG Mobile was breaking down. In the midst of preparation, last Friday I was about to go print. I turn on the ignition. Guess What? I was without my own Vehicle all weekend, and made it thanks to great friends. Day One always has a bit of relief for me. I did it! It’s set up...just some fine tuning. I like to play a lot at the Pacific Sym ...   read more

The lovely Resort is located in Pacific Beach right on Mission Blvd. It has its own bayside and a lovely view of a Mississippi River Steamboat where we hold some of our workshops at this year’s Pacific Symposium. Greg Koch of the Stone Brewing Company of Escondido makes some very great micro beers, including one called Arrogant Bastard Ale. Greg says beer, in the orginal ancient brew formhas health giving values. About to call Greg and invite him to be an Enchanted GardenSponsor. I have a plan here to invite him to use Mugwort, and have or local organic farmers grow it for him. Read on!!!!

Greg was a sponsor of the Slow Food’s Fundraiser at Orfila Winery last August. That’s where we met and talked about growing Barley for Hops: now I have a better plan. Let’s grow Mugwort, Moxa to the acupuncturists. Other Blog related to this story: http://curezone.com/blogs/m.asp?f=92&i=1977 Historical Note: http://www.germanbeerinstitute.com/Gruitbier.html Mugwort (Artemesia vulgaris) has leaves that contain absinthin, a bitter compound that imparts a Vermouth-like bittersweet taste and aroma to the brew.
