At 4:45 AM this morning,
we experienced the blessing of a solar eclipse (New Moon) in the sign of Virgo. That it also occurs on the eve of the autumnal equinox magnifies its demarcation of a major ending and the commencement of a new beginning.
The past two weeks have been grinding, purifying and filled with opportunities for release. As this New Moon (Solar Eclipse) also conjuncts Vesta, an asteroid considered by some to be the modern ruler of Virgo, and, in adidition, the south Node in Virgo, we are mightily called upon that the collective consciousness seek to shift from the mundane to the sacred once more.
Vesta was the guardian of the sacred fires of sexuality, fertility and the kundalini. Vestal Virgins were priestesses who used sacred sex as a mode of initiation for men into manhood or to assist them to heal their deepest wounds. Children conceived from such unions were deemed to have divine gifts..
In modern times we may wish to deeply meditate on the use of our own potent creative force (divine sexuality) and just how we are expressing it through our soul.
Do take time to have a meaningful connection with your Holy Spirit. Consecrate yourself to allowing yourself to be led by the inner emanations of being...trusting that your Spirit has given you gifts...and that these gifts muast be honoured and given to humanity as part of your link to this grand web of life we call "all of creation." What is your role? How would you best like to serve. For Virgo asks us to examine our individual path of Service...
For myself, I wish to serve the animals (large and small) and preserve and capture the intrinsic beauty of mother earth, to alleviate the suffering of all who seek me out...to listen to the parts of my own soul that still need healing and clearing....and to consecrate myself to becoming ever more conscious of my Inner spirit's promptings.
