Day 17 of water only fast. Question; I’m having around 10 bowel movements a day since about day 10, 8 of those BMs happen in the couple hours before bed. Great job getting to day 26, now 27. First, no supplements during a water fast. You deplete your nutritional reserves when you eat partially. Just drink warm water, rest and stay warm. A good thing you fasted 36 hours. This answer is late but will help you for future fasts and help other readers. When you fast for a day or two you do not need to follow the fast breaking protocol. You can eat whatever you want, but not processed junk. Also cooking fruits kills all its enzymes, I rather eat raw fruits. If you feel cold during a fast that is normal. If you feel cold after you start eating, I would do a basal temperature test to see if you are Iodine deficient. If there is a sudden drop in the blood pressure then fast must be broken. If it is gradual drop you should be fine. If you fast with water only, stay warm, rest and drink warm water per thirst. I am considering doing a fast of some kind to help lower my ALT levels for one of my liver enzymes. It is not too far elevated but is staying around 100-125. I do have an issue with non diabetic hypoglycemia and low blood pressure. My blood sugar stays around 60-70 when I havent eaten and blood pressure can range 90/50 to 100/x range. 90/50 is fairly routine at the doctors and I do have a blood pressure monitor.
