Re: cavernous liver hemangioma

Hi -

Glad to hear your liver resection went well.

I do know from research that estrogen seems to be the cause for women's hemangioma's to grow. Have you had any hormonal imbalances that you know of? Do you have any symptoms of being estrogen dominant? I am really curious about this because I read on a health site that estrogen therapy had increased a hemangioma in rats while tamoxifen had shrunk it. So I'm thinking about taking natural progesterone to see if this will either halt the tumor from growing or to even shrink it.

Melissa
