I’m currently mentoring a young man with schizo symptoms. I don’t want to label but he has classic signs of delusions, paranoia, hallucinations, anger,etc...
He was abused in every way since the age of 4, being a product of the bad aspects of foster homes. There’s that nurture benefit that he did not recieve. I’ve tried orthomolecular megavitamin therapy, diet change, amalgam removal, detox, etc...but results are not as good as I expected.

I just stumbled onto this site and your message about schizophrenic symptoms. Why I felt compelled to reply was that you mentioned taking ephedrine in diet pills and then suffering terrible symptoms. Alarm bells went off for me because the reason I am searching is that my twenty year old son suffered a severe psychotic reaction after taking ephedrine while working out in the gym. Dr. Fuhrman does not allow any of his patients to take medications while fasting. I was lucky enough to attend one of lectures last year and personally spoke to him.
Here is what said about fasting and meds.........
Dr. Fuhrman says that complications can arise when medications are taken on an empty stomach. Those fasting should avoid over-the-counter drugs such as Tylenol, and people taking medication more regularly are probably not good candidates for fasting.

I tried all of the professional routes of dealing with my depression and anxiety, and although they treated the symptoms, they didn’t identify the fact that depression is simply caused by emotional retention in the form of suppressed emotions and liver toxicity and stagnation. All hypnosis is self hypnosis, therefore one can learn how to delete all of the garbage from their subconscious mind on their own, and flushing the liver is best done in privacy. I have not met one person yet who after cleansing both their hard drive and liver of suppressed emotions and bile stones still had depression.

I was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder back in 2004-2005. I first started showing symptoms around 2002-2003. I also spent a lot of time on psychiatric medication, in addition to having absolutely no eating habits (worse than poor). After being stabilized on medication, and arguing with the doctors, they decided to change my medication anyways. Hi sorry it took so long for me to respond. I have been sick. My son has been battling schizophrenia since he was young. It got progressively worse and I contacted the ND in Mexico. At age 20 I was diagnosed with Schizophrenia. I am in my early 50’s now. I have been able to keep my sanity and avoid Tardive Dyskensia (side affects) by avoiding the traditional meds, Haldol, Prolixin, Thorazine, etc. I have never heard voices or saw hallucinations, etc.

Schizophrenia is a full blown genuine mental illness, but many schizophrenics are also psychically gifted. Schizophrenia abnormalities can been seen on CT brain scans.
Several my my collegues have been curing this disorder, the key is in the epigenetics, same with autism and bi-polar disorder.

I have been diagnosed with Drug Induced Psychosis.
I’ve been on Seroquel for almost (started on 100,mg 200mg, then 600mg, then 400mg) 3 years, during those 3 years I did come of it for about 3 days (unintentionally), had an episode, and was hospitalised in a lock up ward. (Big mistake)
It is with me also if I miss a dose, I’ll have the worst sleepless night of my life, and I hallucinate while I’m half asleep.
I find it to also twitch my right hand to the point I can’t control it. but this seemed to have weakened a bit, but still there semi-dormant.
