I would check for parasite using the Metametrix GI test - use panel #2105. Parasites are very hard to detect but this test is superior to any other test. I would also check vitamin D3 status, check or treat for heavy metals, make sure I was using nutritional support and use detox methods for metals and environmental poisons. Be careful advocating low salt. I found one of the only abnormal test results I had was low salt. Trying to follow healthy eating habits including low salt and no bad fats. A wholistic nurse practitioner told me almost all of her chronic pain patients are abnormally low in salt.
