If you are doing 80/10/10 and eating 1-2 avocados/day, you are going to have to eat an enormous amount off fruit to maintain the 80/10/10 ratio. Dr Graham doesn’t really know what he is talking about regarding health in general, but I have to say he is right that fats and carbs don’t mix well together. Actually, very low fat diets such as the 80 10 10 diet are in a way not beneficial to the liver, because fat is needed to produce bile, which is the carrier for toxins the liver filters. Stagnant bile makes you also very prone to gallstones. If you detox without stimulating bile to be released, you’re gonna feel awful. I have known MH to offer refunds. The one you should be mad at is someone like Wiley Brooks who extorts millions in exchange for his secrets to health and longevity. I don’t agree with MH’s orange juice fast. I tried the fast for 13 days and didn’t improve at all, but I didn’t get any worse either. Vegetable and fruit juice fasting has been around for a many decades and has helped many people. I only have a problem with MH’s claim that orange juice fasting by his method is the only correct fast. Humans definitely need animal fat to be healthy.
