Ok, got it. Nothing I have seen before, it does not match the typical features of a parasite (let me know if you want details). Parasites would take some time to mature, so try to fit the timeframe from ingestion to release. Bacteria, fungal/yeast and of course parasites can cause the inflammation you are having. Have you tried any garlic, peppermint, oil of oregano, neem or other natural antimicrobials? Whenever I have a stomach bug, diarrhea or not, I drink lots of colloidal silver and then if that seems to knock out the bug or knock it back a ways I always follow with probiotics to help restore gut flora to healthy levels. I was diagnosed with UC when I was 25 in 1971. I was allergic to sulfa, so at that time, steroids were the only option. They look like roundworms. They are very common. You probably had them for ages. Usually by the time you notice them it has been decades. Tests are totally unreliable incl the elisa as in chronic infections the antibodies are close to 0 in the blood. I think seeing them is a good enough confirmation! Try a short 1-2 day fast first, no need to do a long one right away. It’s important to be able to refeed slowly and in my experience doing longer ones out the gate I had trouble not over eating on refeeding.
