Re: Cravings!

All carbohydrates also feed candida; in fact it can survive on any food. At first I stopped every food I was told fed the candida until I read about the carbs, then I realised that being hypoglycemic, and even if I wasn't, it was just getting silly because I wasn't getting rid of the candida anyway!
I've reintroduced tomotoes and potatoes on the advice of my naturopath, who also told me about rice dream because these things are good for me. We need to do things that are good for us long term because then our bodies will get strong enough to fight the candida themselves; higher immune system etc. A varied diet is essential.
There's a website with some great advice. It says that we shouldn't give something up unless we're planning to stay off it for good because as soon as we start eating the thing again the candida will come back therefore a great deal of common sense is needed.
I stopped coming to this forum for quite a while because it was making me despair. Every time I came here posts were telling me I was doing something wrong, I needed to buy an expensive product or there were several more things I had to do. It's impossible to get it right when I'm following every bit of advice I read; I just get so wound up my stress is feeding the candida.
Therefore I've relaxed a bit and am using my own common sense. I'm coming back here because I have learnt some valuable things here and hope I still will.
I didn't mean to pour this all out but you just told me I'm doing something wrong and this is my response. No one knows for certain anything much about candida; we're all learning and should use our own heads.
