Re: ~Coconut Oil for Breakfast~

Zoe,

that breakfast looks fabulous :D!

Okay, I have backed off on using the olive oil and have instead used grapeseed oil. Even though, it claims it is for high heat cooking, it seems that it is not that great. Now I must admit it is only thus far, to pop my popcorn in. It seems that it takes quite a while to heat the oil in.

My question is, does your food have the taste of coconut, when cooking with it? I do not like coconut flavor. I do not like coconut mostly, yet can ingest the oil for health purposes. Still do not eat coconut though.

As for your cast iron skillet, please explain how to 'well season' it. Also, does one get too much iron in their diet from using a cast iron skillet?

Thanks in advance, Zoe. Hope all is well with you!

Peace,
Beth
