Re: What Brand and Dosage?`
Excellent, thank you. I think this is where my friend ordered the test. Did you test yourself initially? I talked to my naturopath/homeopath today to set up my next appointment, and she reminded me that she treated me for low
Iodine probably a year ago, but I was only on what I assume to be a low dose herbal form for a short period of time, and it sounds like it's probably not hard to become deficient. She was warning me against experimenting with straight iodine, she said I could harm my thyroid if I take too much. I don't know that she's done extensive reading on this subject, and I do think she could be wrong about this. She's going to test me again in a couple of weeks, but I must admit I don't put 100% faith in kinesiology (I think there can be practitioner influence and variables with that), and I may follow up with the urine test and see what that says. Given the fact that Dr. Brownstein says he finds a good 90-95% of his patients deficient, I would be surprised, given my symptoms and continuing health issues, that I'm in that 5% who is full up on iodine.
Do you feel there's a difference between
Lugol's and Iodoral in terms of how they work?
