Re: do the basics
Thank you, writing it all down....Sorry about your teeth. I have been through the ringer with my own dental work. If I'd known then what I know now....
I wondered if you could elaborate on the the calcium hydroxide thing - I went so far as to order a bottle of food grade pickling lime last week because I haven't been able to get my PH up with diet and mineral supplementation alone (so far - but maybe the
Iodine will help). I still have major reservations about it, and yet I keep reading testimonials in that forum of people getting good results with that particular alkalizing drink, though it sounds to me like it's promoted as kind of an emergency aid in the initial steps, and that diet and lifestyle changes are the real key to becoming and staying alkaline. It's certainly not something I would want to do long term, but wondered if it might be reasonably safe just to jump start things in the short term. If you can point me to any reading or literature, or just share why you know this to not be the case, or why it would be harmful (aside from the obvious fact that it's not a plant or a food, which of course makes me nervous), I'd really appreciate it. It sounds like Moreless came up with this on his own, and I don't know why I should or shouldn't trust his advice. In addition to the fact that people often get excited about initial good results with a protocol and post ecstatic successes, when things might take a different turn later. (I also think some of those successes are partially due to things like giving up
Sugar and refined foods at the same time, etc., so you never know the whole story on why a person is improving.)
Anyway, thanks again.
