Re: BTW, MH's "tree iodine"-Reality Check
Hmmm! good to know! I've been using some dried kelp as a condiment/supplement, but you're right, our waters are so polluted now. I do eat seaweed from Maine Cost sea vegetables, they claim they are tested regularly for contaminans, and I'm going on trust I guess.
I'm not bothered, either, by the idea of taking straight purified
Iodine rather than from kelp, it sounds like there are plenty of studies and anecdotal accounts of its effectiveness - better than with kelp in some cases.
I have been trying to get around having formal testing because of the expense and the hassle involved in seeing a doctor, so I'm just trying to figure out if I can determine my own dose. I often work that way, but this might be an exception. I was trying to get some opinions about the different brand types of Iodine, since I know I read something about certain forms being better for treating certain conditions and symptoms.
Thanks!
