Re: Concealing acne? Please help!!

Hi Gordon! I feel for you, I was in the same situation. I was 12 when I first got bad breakouts on my chin. I tried everything to cover them up. I just made them worse by clogging up pores, even if it said Dermatologist tested, or "non-clogging". I am now 28, and I've been using proactive for about 8 years. I know it's expensive, but I found a way around some of the expense through experimenation. St. Ives Makes an apricot facial scrub for Acne Prone skin. It works just as well as the proactive scrubber, and I skip the toner, that doesn't help in my case. I bought just the Repairing Lotion from the website, and I have been using the same bottle for over 2 years. It doesn't take too much on your skin to work. I have it on my chin, and I use a very small amount Morning and night. It is even an expired bottle, and it still works. Try the St. Ives alone, and see if that works, first. It can be hard to come by, but look in the grocery store, or drug store, it's cheap, and effective. Good luck! Hope this helps. Wish I knew all of his stuff when I was 14, I wouldn' t have had to suffer thru HS with the painful problem.
