Thank you so much for the imput. I really appreciate it. There is so much conflicting advice out there in terms of what to eat and when for the post-fast, that at some point you just have to follow what feels best for you. I don't necessarily know one way is better than another until I try it. I just wanted to eat the soup that I ate as a kid and it does not contain that many potatoes in it. I will see how I feel while I'm eating it anyway, since I will be eating small amounts and very slowly. With my diabetes anyway, I need to avoid the high sugars of fruit and fruit juices which is why I'm only doing two days with fruit. My original plan was to eat raw veggies after that, but after research and advisement, was told that lightly cooked veggies were better so that is the way I decided to go.
