How did you feel on the higher dose?

I'm wishing that I would have done more research on hypothyroidism back when I was 22 and just starting on the sythroid meds. I wonder if Iodine back then would have healed my thyroid?

By taking the thyroid meds, I think it makes the thyroid gland lazy..since it's not working properly in the first place probably due to lack of iodine, it probably makes it even worse by taking over its job. I don't know though..it's so complex to me. But I'm hoping to heal my thryoid gland, and get it functioning again.
