If you are taking iodine, how come you want to start thyroid meds? I'm trying to get off of them with the iodine.

How much Iodine do you take? I was going to buy a basal thermometer and keep track of my morning temp and keep upping my Iodine until it's between 97.8 and 98.2 and then start tapering off the armour and if my temp falls, I'll up the iodine.

When I paint any Iodine on my body..I can watch it literally disappear..it's weird. I guess I've been deficient most of my life. I wonder if I got the problem of goiter and hypothyroism from strep throat when I was 11.
