i don't think most of us want to be bombarded by ads every day.  some corporations have even tried to put them up in the sky so when we look up we see them.  they want any space they can find.  driving through cities is sometimes hard because of all the signs. 

how do you propose we boycott.  mcdonald's is considered as american as apple pie.   and to make things worse, mcdonald's hires moms to give it the healthy seal of approval.  if we protest, we are unamerican.  we are looked upon as hippie freaks. 

MSG is one of those things companies can get away with hiding.  they have a ton of names so we don't know what it is.  and many ingredients are long and strange sounding.  we would have to be chemists.  but, still people eat them because it is on the market.  and the general consenses is that if a food is being produced, it is fit for consumption.
