Thanks for your suggestions. I will start using more oils and try the sardines and avocado. I have been resistant to buy avocadoes as they are $2 each, but if I really consider it, that is a small price to pay for such a nutritious food that can put weight on me. Plus they are wonderful to eat.
It's not that I expect a quick fix. Maybe I just thought I'd see progress, but it feels like I take one step forward, two steps back, and that is discouraging. I looked great a few weeks ago, two weeks into the program, and now I look worse. I think I have lost my appetite and am just not focusing on eating. Eating seems to be the enemy sometimes because the diet is so restrictive. I need to home prepare everything which can be so hard with 2 little ones and my level of fatigue. i just ordered $125 worth of products from sunfoods.com, lots of healthy convenient foods like flax crackers and sprouted nut rolls. I figure that the money I spend on that stuff will be about the same as health insurance would be for one month, but one is actually improving my life while the other is just assuming I will fall ill. Anyway, I appreciate any suggestions and comments. Thank you.
