lymphodemia is very serious

CS is right. It's most likely lymphodemia and doctors should be spanked for not telling cancer patients about it. I have a friend who had prostate surgery and they removed lymph glands and didn't tell him about lymphodemia and his leg swelled up twice the size and was painful. Luckily he found out about it from his daughter and he massages it regularly now.

There are lymphodemia specialists who massage the fluid out and train you how. It's very important that she does that or it will only get worse, sometimes very bad. There are some unlucky people with huge limbs that are incurable now because doctors took out their lymph glands and didn't tell them about lympodemia. It really is a crime.

The lymph system runs all through your body and has no pump so the fluids, usually toxins, get stuck in them, and after cancer surgery they take out parts of the lymph and then there's no where for the fluid to go.

What really helps is to have a soft brush in the shower and brush towards your heart, especially under your arms, under your collar bones and behind your knees. I put a hook in the ceiling and hang a three tiered wire basket(s) for all my shower things. I think it's better than dry brushing. Try it even if you're not sick.
