I've had a discussion recently about DIM since many of the breast patients take it.

Personally, I feel the concentrated ingredients in DIM and I3C are goitrogens and disrupt thyroid function. Some thyroid patients were doing fine until they started DIM. The documentation for DIM and Breast Cancer is not there. Tho, it is a trendy alt med supplement.
