Dr. Jarvis was not what you call a "technical communicator" because he didn't have any research techniques to communicate. He didn't have Pubmed to research what scientists were doing with iodine. He didn't have conferences to go to where he could exchange information systematically.

For you to call those doctors a "cult" because they pool their knowledge and cite their sources is inaccurate and disrespectful to research.
