Actually, while I was in training we had a woman in about her 60's who was in very poor health and it took more than 4 colonics, and many more after that before she achieved a clear colon. My instructor likened it to "peeling back the layers on an onion". When the poor woman came in the first time her skin was yellowish and she walked with difficulty. I will say now that she looked to me like "walking death".

When she left after her colonic the last time I was there she walked with a spring in her step and looked 20 years younger than she had months earlier when I had first seen her and observed her first session. That made quite an impression on me at the time.

But since that time I don't recall a client that after 4 colonics hadn't experienced significant results. That may have been because if a client is disappointed with the results of their first 2 or 3 sessions, they may have become discouraged and not come back for additional treatments.
