What is truly sad, is your attitude and your penchant towards magical thinking. If you knew anything about dogs, you would realize how stupid this idea really is. I suggest you spend time training your animals, you will learn that they are just very good in reading body language, it is their natural language. Because people like you are so bad at it, they assume it is the magic of ESP. My dog's  numerous obedience, tracking, hunting, schutzhund, agility titles, speak for my ability to really communicate with my animals. Yours suffer from your delusions of an imagined relationship. What is worse because you don't treat for what they are you are short-changing their development.

I suggest you take some courses on ethology. Because you are ignorant about animal communication, you are inventing explanations.

Science has not disproven the existence of unicorns, or manticores or elfs, leprechauns, or the Gods like Thor, Venus, Apollo, Tumi. I imagine you don't believe in at least one item from that list.
