Re: severe dysplasia

Thanks for taking the time to help. So far I've had 2 PAP's and 1 biopsy. Both PAP's coming back abnormal (both with signs of possible severe dysplasia) which led to the biopsy which agreed with the PAP tests that I have severe dysplasia. They explained to me about HPV and that this is not cancer, but it can very well lead to cancer if untreated. Since mine is so far high on the chart (severe rather than mild or moderate) they say they will either freeze the abnormal cells off or perform the LEEP procedure. They also did blood tests and tested for STD's. All clear there, so they pretty much narrowed it down to HPV. I'm just worried about pain, ability to have kids afterwards, and risk of reoccurance in the future.
