Re: Correcting "Hemochromatosis--Basis Chemistry Lesson"
Regardless, the information has been a miracle to me.
Very few people blaze trails... teachers teach students what they were taught and/or learn on their own, we then teach others what we were taught and/or learn on our own through books, life lessons, what have-you...
If passing on valuable information that one learns through any means is silly, then I am very silly too and so is most everyone on these boards that posts helpful information and/or links to websites hosting that information.
I sure wish my great grand parents, grand parents, and parents were more silly with me. You can bet I am picking their brains now through my parents. Mom has old books and notes on most of this stuff that I have been pouring over.
I have discussed with my parents about what they and their parents did for home remedies etc. most show up here on the zone somewhere as a rediscovered lost healing art. These healing arts may have been lost, but only because we chose to put our faith in the modern medical machine and it faded away. We need more people to keep these simple ideas alive through their silliness.
EVERYTHING that ML suggests, my parents have confirmed how and why they used it for the same reasons ML suggests... the why it works is not discussed, I do not think that they know... they just knew it worked and used it.
In the face of poor foods, poor water, poor environment and no reliable supplement industry, perhaps a failed economy, it will be a very good knowledge, maybe a life saving knowledge to understand how to use ANY available resources for healing, like
Epsom Salts , baking soda, calcium hydroxide, borax, salt, vinegar, etc.
Cheers to being silly :-)
