Maybe what we want...

Maybe what we want is a collection of small forums that are affiliated, and operated by individual 'owners'/writers.

The general public could post their questions, preferred subjects, and comments, to a central board, and the forum operators could pick and choose which they would like to address, and which comments from the public they would like to include.
