Re: Is there a cure for SAD?

Wow, that is pricey~!

I use light therapy on rainy days and
especially in the winter when there is
little sun or the quality of light is
low that I do feel I am not waking up.

I can recommend just buying a shop light
and buying some full spectrum tube lights
or even a nice quality full spectrum bulb
which I found one at my health food store
for a floor lamp works.

Essential oils are also of benefit.
I like to use an essential oil
diffuser to amp up my mood too.
Here is the brand I use~~

Essential oils like geranium or
lavender are very uplifting. Your
friend may even just find an essential
oil which suits them and wear it. There
are many which are used for depression.
Again, a health food store should have
a really nice selection.

Exercise of course is also always
beneficial. I use a chi machine to
get my body flowing, but a session
of body brushing could be as useful
to move lymph.

best wishes,
Zoe
