Re: Mild Dysplasia/ HPV

I read you messages about mild dysplasia, but what I don't understand is how one initually comes into contact with this disease. I was told I have mild dysplasia and they took the sample tissue from me and said that it would heal on its own. She refered to it as HPV as well and as a see in other messages the notes about it being directed towards Genital Warts. If i have had the same partner for a while and have had a general check up while with him about a year ago, i dont understand how this is just now coming up. I don't know how genital warts can be associated with something like this. I am not sleeping around with people and wouldn't you know if you had something like genital warts. If you have this Hpv do you gradually get genital warts or are you okay? I am so lost on this topic. If you can help me out anymore i would greatly appricate it! Thanks
