i love coffee. no one is more of a connoisseur than i. in fairbanks, my coffee roaster was also a good friend. he used a carousel roaster from europe, organic coffee from the chiapis region of mexico(loved the bite) and his brother hooked him up with a grower of kona in hawaii. i have never had a better pull of espresso than his. i met an itallian in north kansas city who came darn close, but alas, it was the roaster who was lacking(what do you expect from topeka kansas?).
i just didnt ant to give it up. now i am glad i did. i knew i had to. i have not forbidden myself completely, but now it will truly be a treat instead of a constant flow and a lifestyle. it was a religion for me. i am just amazed that i dont miss it more than i do. i surely thought i would.
daily habits make the terrain of the body which determines function. our bodies were not created to be a strong coffee processing station. i knew that and put it off as long as possible.
