Re: sunflower seeds,Growing medium & soaking.

Hello finallyfaith I am growing them in the same growing trays and medium I use for my wheat and barley grass!I soaked them overnight 12hrs. the seeds floated in an unexpected fashion.The first 2 trays didnt germinate very well.The second time I used a colander to powerwash the seeds for a better cleaning.Before and after soaking,this increased the germination ratio.Im still learning about handeling the seeds properly for germination issues.Im taking pics. every day or two to track progress.So far things are growing along slowly.
