I like to juice about 5 pounds at a time and drink the juice in one 'sitting'. After washing the carrots and cutting the tops and bottoms, I juice about 1/4 of the amount (approx. 12 ozs. of juice) and leisurely drink the juice; then juice another 1/4, and so on. The whole process takes an hour or more. It's like a Religious Experience if done properly, the clean-up being part of the experience.
