WY...A reply to you & invitation to others. :-)

Hi WY...George Malkmus of Hallelujah Acres (www.hacres.com) says that the body
cannot assimulate more than 8 to 10 ounces at a time. He said you need at least
one hour between each glass of juice. It takes about one pound of carrots to make
a big glass if that's all you use. However, we usually use about 5 or 6 big carrots, a big handful of spinach and sometimes add one or two more things..to make
each of our glasses.

We love carrot juice...and we love juicing. And I wholeheartedly believe in it's
benefits.

It seems to me that drinking so much at once...you would be wasting most of it...
'if' you're doing it for your health. But you ARE getting it down...so that's good. :-) Because your body is taking in many of the nutrients anyway.

It seems that some people on curezone kind of live 'guru' lives. :-) And they
live to do this stuff...but us, even though my husband is retired...we are extremely active and we work from sun-up to sun down most days. Sunday is taken
up with church and lunch out with friends each Sunday at noon. And then there are
the 'fun days out'...like yesterday. We live at the very Southern tip of Illinois
and this weekend was the 400 Mile Yard Sale...so we left early and headed across
Kentucky...what a wonderful day...met so many great new people...and shared many
stories along the way...but we had a Grilled Rib Eye Steak and Pepsi for lunch...
and a Chocolate Shake mid-afternoon. So that whole day was shot as far as eating
healthy was concerned.

I think it would be interesting to hear stories of how some of the curzonians live..how they handle their 'healthy living'...how often they 'do their health things'...etc. Why don't we start with YOU? :-)
What is YOUR daily agenda as far as 'healthy living and healing'? And then I hope
others will share their stories. kathryn
