Good questions...

Seems to me like they boil down to....either you think that Life and the Universe has meaning because growth, learning, experience is involved. Or you think that it's all just a meaningless, hilarious game and we're just acting out roles that don't grow or change.

Ya think?

I am all for the Meaningful life. (surprise, surprise!)

This doesn't prove anything (one could easily argue against it) - but as far as 'fixed parameters' and 'choice/change' goes...it seems to me that we give ourselves guidelines (I want to learn this and that with this person and that person)....then we are free within that structure to do what we please with the energies that are available to us.

...and, yes, I do believe that our experience level helps to dictate how free we are within our set perameters....just because sometimes it doesn't even occur to a person to think/do something because it seems so foreign...then that limits your freedom....(yap yap yap!)

Oh boy...gettin' pooped out!

But...it all boils down to the belief in Meaningfullness or Meaninglessness. (and, I think that meaninglessness is fine!...but I do think it's a little safe, though) Is that a can of worms?
