Re: Back for more....

Erica,

Good luck on your continued work both with diet and self image. And remember, skinny people eat the occasional bad of unplanned thing - what makes them different is that after they eat it, they can appreciate that food, then continue on their original plan. Yesterday I had cheesecake at a memorial day potluck. I originally planned for 30 days no dessert or sweet breads, yet this was my second dessert. I could say "I blew it" but I notice that the reason I decided on cutting Sugar is because I was having cravings and because I ate dessert or something sweet Every. Single. Day. So... dessert two times in the last 19 days...! wow, that's some improvement! And I didn't have intense cravings 30 minutes after the cheesecake, so that's notable progress. The guilt hurts your efforts. There is no need to feel guilty, so many people share the same struggles as you so why blame yourself? Just keep on keepin' on...

I hear a great book to explain some of our struggles and help with guilt issues is the diet book called "Why Can't I stop eating?" You can read an exerpt from amazon.

Great work and congrats on your continued success and determination.
